- Don't swear
- Some people can lose control and say things they normally wouldn't
- It is called flaming when you start arguments online
- Some people decide that they want to start flame wars
- On the internet it is easy to become anonymous
- Having a secret identity to hide behind can make people brave
- When they see a screen name or a funny icon they seem to forget that they are dealing with humans
- Treat other people the way you want to be treated
- Some abbreviations can be ok to your Friends but not other people
- Don't write in all capital letters because it will make it seem like you are shouting
- Humor on the internet is not as obvious as in real life
- Once your message is out it's out
- make sure you ask for permission when you are posting pictures about others
- People's personal information is private and you can really ruin relationships
- Don't post things that you don't want people to see
